Entrepreneur, founding her first company at the age of 28 and building it into a successful business before exiting in 2010. With a passion for information technology, and a background in Russian, Education, and Sales, Ms. Benbow assists companies with identifying cybersecurity risks and develop policies and awareness training to protect intellectual property. Her experience and knowledge in data analytics provide organizations with the tools to further understand trends and market data.
She writes on various aspects of cyber security such as cloud security, terrorism, and security awareness protocols. In analytics, her work ranges from front-end athletic department analysis to writing “Request for Information” for Business Intelligence Systems for large organizations. Her security work ranges from the creation of cyber security awareness training, and security policy to preparing documentation for security audits. She also has also managed the adoption and process of defining data for a large public university.
With an interest in identifying and solving business problems, she concentrates finding innovative solutions that empower business executives to execute their vision. New technology is a way to accomplish this goal. In today’s digital economy, it is paramount that organizations understand the need to analyze and protect their digital assets, and because of the numerous media venues available, different policies and procedures are necessary to effectively protect and disseminate the information.
